However, there has been no clear standard for printing and dyeing auxiliaries in the printing and dyeing industry. Currently, there is an urgent need for a standardization organization for printing and dyeing auxiliaries to develop standards and guide the correct use of printing and dyeing auxiliaries.

Now, this institution has emerged - the unveiling ceremony of the Printing and Dyeing Auxiliaries Branch of the National Dye Standardization Technical Committee was recently held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Yin Minghan, Director of the National Standardization Management Committee, stated that this move has put an end to the long-standing lack of national standards in the field of auxiliaries, providing a guarantee for the standardized development and healthy competition of the textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries industry.

Auxiliaries are known as the "MSG" in the textile printing and dyeing industry, playing a crucial role in enhancing the added value of textiles. In recent years, the production of printing and dyeing auxiliaries in China has been increasing at a rate of over 10% per year, with more than 1500 varieties, showing a strong development momentum. At the same time, the control of harmful chemical substances in textiles by international trade has been raised to the national and even global level. Alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether, ammonium perfluorooctanoate, perfluorooctane sulfonyl compounds and other chemical substances widely used in the printing and dyeing auxiliaries industry have become the key targets of the EU ban, which also poses severe challenges to the improvement of the printing and dyeing auxiliaries industry.

It is reported that after the establishment of the Printing and Dyeing Auxiliaries Branch, three aspects of work will be carried out in the near future: first, to study the ecological requirements of textile chemicals and establish relevant testing standards to improve the product quality and international competitiveness of textile chemicals; Secondly, we will strengthen the standardization of testing and evaluation of textile chemicals, establish relevant national standards to standardize products with multiple varieties and uneven quality levels, and improve the product quality and stability of textile chemicals; Thirdly, we will strengthen the tracking and research of international advanced standards, actively adopt international standards, focus on enhancing China's position and role in international standardization activities, eliminate technical barriers, and improve the level and comprehensive competitiveness of China's printing and dyeing auxiliary industry.

After the establishment of the Printing and Dyeing Auxiliaries Branch, a series of standards will be formulated for the use of printing and dyeing auxiliaries in printing, which provides strong guarantees for guiding printing and printing production and judging whether product quality is qualified.
