Wet Friction Fastness Enhancer TY-138
Product Introduction:

When active, sulfurized, direct, and indigo dyes are used to dye dark colors on cellulose fibers, their wet friction fastness is particularly low, especially for large black, bright red, and turquoise, which often have a wet friction fastness lower than level 1. However, textiles exported to Europe and America require a wet friction fastness of level 3 or above to improve their salt and alkali stability and reduce the structural deficiencies of the product itself. Therefore, a fully environmentally friendly wet friction fastness enhancer TY-138 has been specially developed

Main Ingredients:

Special water-based polyurethane

Common Models And Indicators:

Appearance: Light yellow to yellow semi transparent liquid (darkens over time)

Ionic: weakly cationic

PH value: 4.0 ± 1.0 (50g/l)

Solubility: easily dispersed in any proportion of tap water

Product Features:

1. This product does not contain formaldehyde or APEO, and is an environmentally friendly product that meets the requirements of the EU OEKO-TEX Standard 100;

2. Used for fixing treatment after dyeing cellulose fibers; The effect of greatly improving wet friction fastness can be increased by 1-1.5 levels, reaching levels 3 or above;

3. Easy to use, directly dilute with water for use;

4. The fabric has a soft hand feel and has no effect on color and sunlight fastness.

Usage:

Depending on the type and concentration of dye used, as well as the type and shape of the fabric being treated, the usage is as follows:

1. Immersion method (limited to water washing plants)

Dosage: TY-138:2-4% (o.w. f.) (adjusted according to the depth of chromaticity)

Bath ratio: 1:10-20

Process: Stained fabric (pH ≤ 7) → Immersion (40 ℃, time: 20-30 minutes) → Drying

2. Dip rolling method dosage: TY-138:30-50g/L;

Process: dyed fabric (pH ≤ 7) → one immersion and one rolling (rolling residue rate: 80-85%) → drying

Notes:

1. Please use immediately after preparation, and conduct sufficient sample testing before use. The above process is for reference only.

2. Can only be used alone and cannot be used in the same bath with silicone oil, softener, fixing agent, and anionic additives.

3. Controlling the temperature of the working fluid between 25 ℃ and 40 ℃ yields the best results.

Before using the lifting agent TY-138, clean the fabric with alkali (pH ≤ 7), salt, and soap detergent.

5. If a large amount of foam is generated in the rolling groove after a long time of use, the foam shall be removed in time or the rolling groove shall be cleaned and the working fluid shall be changed.

6. Try to maintain the pH value of the working fluid within the range of 5-6.

7. The water used for the working fluid should be tap water with a concentration of ≤ 100ppm.

Packaging And Storage:

120kg or 200kg; stored in a cool and dry place, sealed, with a shelf life of 12 months.
